MARION H. SWEITZER
Marion H. (Happy Pappy) Sweitzer, 64, of 1515 W. Rose st. died at 4:15 pm
Tuesday in Mercy Medical Center followinf several years of failing healthand
three weeks of serious illness.
Mr. Sweitzer was born May 17, 1905, in Springfield, the son of Jesse N.and
Magdalena Hughel Sweitzer, and was a member of the First Friends Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary N.; three daughters, Mrs. Mary M.Hatfield of
Springfield, Mrs. Marian (Sue) Jenkins of Columbus and Mrs. Karen Rudy of
Piqua; six sons, Clarence F. of Alameda, Calif., Sgt Forrest E. of FOrt
McClellan, Ala., Jesse E of Salinas, Calif., and Jack L., George W. andDwight
L. Sweitzer, all of Springfield; one brother Jim Niles Sweitzer ofSpringfield;
four sisters, Mrs. Martha Anthony and Mrs. Magdalena Haynes, both of
Montebello, Calif., Mrs. Myrtle Umstead of Toledo, and Mrs. Mae Wilson of
Springfield; 26 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and three
step-grandchildren. His body was taken to the Woods-Allgier FuneralHome.

MARY NELL SWEITZER
74, of 524 E. Rose St., Spfld., OH., died at 12:30 p.m. Mon., Oct. 10,1983, in
Mercy Medical Center. She was born April 13, 1909, in Wilmington, OH., a
daughter of Ervin and Dora Bell (DOAN) Brewer. She was a member of theTrinity
Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Martha
Hatfield and Marian Sue Jenkins, both of Spfld., Karen Ruth Rudy, Piqua;five
sons, Clarence Frances (Bud), Almedia, CA., Jesse Irvin, Santa Cruise,CA.,
Jack L., Urbana, George W. (Bill), Spfld., Dwight L. (Whitey), Ft.Pierce, FL.;
34 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.She was
preceeded in death by her husband, Marion Hughel Sweitzer, Feb. 17, 1970,a
son, Forrest Eugene, Dec. 1977. Her body was taken to theJones-O'Brien-Kenney
Funeral Home where friends may call from 3-5 and 7-9 pm Thurs. Serviceswill
be held at 11 am Fri. in the Trinity Church of the Nazarene with Rev.Watson
Swope officiating. Burial in Ferncliff Cemetery. Her body will lie instate in
the church one hour prior to services.
